Richard Schmidt Jewelry Design is a showcase for native Texan Richard Schmidt, a craftsman who draws inspiration from the rich heritage and faith of his beautiful and wild homeland, to create one-of-a-kind jewelry. In college, Richard studied geography and art, eventually taking precious metals classes that would spark his interest in jewelry design. Most of what he knows is self-taught, usually by trial and error, which has resulted in his signature artistic style. In addition to jewelry, the shop carries a variety of art, home decor and clothing.
