ROUND TOP BREWING: TAPPING INTO A WINNING FORMULA

As owners of Round Top’s sole nanobrewery, the Michies brought the spirited craft beer culture to a town apparently thirsty for it.Since opening in October 2021, Round Top Brewing has blossomed into a true gathering place – a taproom, restaurant and live music venue in one cheery, welcoming enterprise.

Leo Botello and his wife/business partner Abbie Byrom-Botello have made Merritt a Texas barbecue destination. But before it was theirs, the joint belonged to the colorful Ellis, the Houston restaurant dynamo who made Round Top his home before he passed.
