Named to recognize the wonderful "creatures" she produces for her shop, the Southern Beasts boutique is the vision of self-taught Round Top artist Mary Lou Marks. Inspired by her lifelong love affair with animals, art and collectibles, her sculptures, accessories and other works are created using carefully selected quality antique fabrics, needlepoints, tapestries dating back to the 1800s and 1900s, vintage costumes, Aubusson elements and other remarkable antique trims and embellishments. Each piece at Southern Beasts brings eccentric charm to any setting, traditional or modern.
